Micah is a licensed American attorney where he is admitted to the bars of the State of Kansas, US District Court of Kansas and the United States Supreme Court.
With over 35 years of legal experience in the international sector, he brings a wealth of knowledge and know-how, having lived, worked and represented clients in and from Europe, Africa, Middle East, South America, and North America.
He holds a B.A. and J.D., from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (USA), 2 LLMs from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), (Commodity Trading Law, International Contracts & Arbitration) in addition to a CAS in Compliance. He also possesses an MBA from Golden Gate University (USA).
Micah is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army after 30 years (16 active, 14 reserves) working in Operations, and various Civil-Military Operation leadership positions in key combatant commands. During this time, he served a total of 5 years in key military leadership positions in several US Embassies to include Italy, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, and Djibouti.
His legal career spanned over 35 years, which has provided legal service to both domestic and international clients in the legal areas of corporate, commercial, regulatory compliance, investment analysis, real estate development, arbitration, international trade/transactions, and cross-border business regulatory analysis.
For the past 15 years he has served as a lecturer for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law International Continuing Legal Education Courses held annually in Italy, Spain and France, where he lectures to American and international attorneys on various areas of the international practice of law.
He has several publications in leading magazines and publications to include, the International Commodities and Derivatives Association Newsletter, Financial Advisor Magazine, and The Energy Regulation and Markets Review-Edition 8, Switzerland.
A true global citizen, he has been fortunate to have lived, worked and traveled to 56 countries around the world.
